Looking for Win Number 7 – Northampton Town v Blackburn Rovers Preview

Blackburn Rovers head south this weekend (December 23rd) to take on Northampton Town as Rovers look for their 7th win in a row. Rovers will look to strikers Danny Graham and Co to keep up the pressure of the top 2 sides, as they try to reaffirm their promotion credentials before the end of the calendar year.

Blackburn come into this match on the back of a scruffy win against Charlton Athletic on the weekend, and Northampton also come into the match after a solid win.

Rovers make it 6 out of 6 – Thanks Leon Best! Rovers v Charlton Review

Blackburn Rovers made it 6 wins in 6 matches to keep the pressure on the top 2 after securing a 2-0 victory over 6th place Charlton Athletic.

The win was made sweeter as the opening scorer was none other than former Blackburn Rovers striker Leon Best who put the ball into his own net. Danny Graham made sure of the points by scoring in injury time.

5 wins out 5 – Posh vs Rovers Match Review

Blackburn Rovers returned to League 1 action to take on Peterborough United at London Road. Rovers continued their league form where they left off picking up the win and all 3 points after a hard fought 2-3 victory over the Posh.

Goals from Charlie Mulgrew and Bradley Dack (x2) make this a great way to start the month of December. Its going to be a manic month of football, and next up for Rovers is an FA Cup Replay against Crewe Alexandra, and then Charlton at Ewood on the weekend.

Posh this weekend! Will the Wins Keep on Coming? Peterborough vs Blackburn Preview

Blackburn Rovers back in League One action as they hope to continue their winning ways.  Last time out, they battled out a 3-3 draw against Crew Alexandra, but this weekend, they make the trip southbound to tackle high flying Peterborough United.

The Posh have a mean machine goalscorer in Jack Marriott which Rovers will need to keep a sharp eye one if they are to get anything from this weekends match up.
