Rovers back in 2nd (for now) – Rovers vs Walsall (3-1) Match Review

Blackburn brought their A game on Tuesday night as they defeated Walsall 3-1 thanks to goals from Danny Graham (x2) and Bradley Dack.

A defensive error the only blimp on what would have been a perfect night. Special mention for Alan Armstrong, who had a million chances to open his Rovers account, but it was not meant to be.

Hear the thoughts from, the Gaffa (Tony Mowbray), the players and fans likes me.

We go again Saturday when we head to Plymouth.

On to the next one. Rovers vs Walsall – Preview

Blackburn Rovers return to league action hoping to rectify the errors of Saturday where they failed to put their chances in the back of the net.

Walsall, who are at the wrong end of the table look to continue the recent trend of team who come to Ewood Park and park the bus and settle for a point.

Rover still on a good unbeaten run, but need to start getting victories instead of draws, can we start a new run from Tuesday?

Thoughts from me, the fans and of course the cat.

Opportunity missed!! Blackburn vs Northampton (1-1) Match Review

Blackburn Rovers had the chance to close the gap on 1st place Wigan Athletic if they could win at Ewood Park against strugglers Northampton Town.

However it was not meant to be, as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s team managed to get a cheeky breakaway goal and sat back for the majority of the game. Fortunately for Rovers we had the attacking options on the bench to change things, and it eventually happened thanks to an in form Danny Graham.

1-1 score in the end and the points shared. The result drops Rovers back into 3rd spot.

Hear the comments from Tony, the fans and of course myself. Next up home match against Walsall.

Win and we will be 2 points off 1st – Rovers vs Northampton Match Preview

Rovers look to close the gap on leaders Wigan Athletic this weekend, with the latics in FA Cup action. If Rovers win they could be as little as just 2 points adrift of the top spot.

Standing in their way are Northampton Town, and Rovers would look to avenge their piss poor performance against Northampton over the Christmas break.

Hear the thoughts from myself, fans and of course the cat.

Match will take place at Ewood Park and we could see full debuts for Alan Armstrong, Jack Payne and Amari’i Bell.
