Mowbray v Bowyer II – Blackburn vs Blackpool Preview

Blackburn Rovers take on their former manager Gary Bowyer and his Blackpool team. Will Rovers pull the fast one on team GB?

This weekend sees the return of our former manager Gary Bowyer, with current manager hoping to get Blackburn back to winning ways. Last time out Blackburn rovers managed to hold out for a draw against promotion rivals Wigan Athletic.

Rovers come into the match on a nice little run winning 4 out of their last 5 games, as for Blackpool they also come into the match without a defeat in at least 5 games.

In this video we hear the thoughts form the fans, myself and of course our very own psychic cat Cass.

Rovers slip up to grab just a point – Blackburn v Wigan Review

The biggest game of the season with 1st placed Blackburn Rovers up against a strong 3rd place Wigan Athletic. The story was set, the winners of this match could start to think about promotion, however those thoughts will have to wait for both sides, as the game ended 2-2.

Blackburn Rovers goals coming from Adam Armstrong the other from Elliott Bennett. As for Wigan Athletic, the goal corers where Michael Jacobs and Max Power.

The result leaves Blackburn top of the table however all 3 of the chasing pack have games in hand. Wigan have 4 more games to play, whereas Blackburn have the points of the board. Long way to go for all involved.

As for the video, hear the thoughts from Tony Mowbray and the fans… I also give you my verdict of a hectic football match.

So here it is folks the biggest game of Blackburn Rovers season as they take on fellow promotion chasers Wigan Athletic.

A win here for either side, and they could start to think about promotion, albeit for a week or two before another hurdle comes along.

Rovers have won 4 games on the spin and are looking to make it 5 from 5, against our Northwest rivals.

Blackburn come into this match fresh off the back of a decent away win at AFC Wimbledon, where Rovers won 3-0. As for Wigan Athletic, their last match was a win against Rochdale, however they did have a match postponed due to the weather.

In this video, hear from the manager about the match, comments from the fans and a shocking prediction from the Cat. Can Rovers keep up the pressure at the top, or is this a game to far?
